FatFreak I would guess that You need to download the update from realone that Randy has given above. Mine is version 10.5 and it plays it.
My connection is dialup at 28,000 and it loads quite fast.

sorry how long this is but i found the meeting very exciting.
the short version is i said directly that i do not believe in the wts, feel being d/f is unfair on my jw family so asked them to just leave me alone.
it didn't work.
I suppose that it would not be "legal" for them to make you turn over your laptop. I am sorry to inform you that nothing stops them from asking for it and then when you refuse they could DF just for refusing.
Their control is not based on the Constitution of the US. This point shouldn't be lost on us. When you join JW's you make a mistake thinking your still protected inside the congregation by the laws of the land, at least in US based law countries. I cannot even count how many times I heard "this is not a democracy" in the hall.
my friend, who is still attending meetings, tried to video tape a part on the theocratic school.
he was told to take it down.
is this one individual's opinion?
It would seem to me that the private land owners can stop you from video taping on their property, i.e. corporation officers i.e. elders in control.
Only from public land is it a god given right to video tape at something on private land.
Public meetings will not make it public land.

Thanks MJ:
I was not offended by your statement at all. It was an issue that I had tossed around before with myself.
As far as my sister-in-laws doubts go, I can tell you that she has always been one of those that can pick an apostate from a mile away.
The only time that got her going, that I can think of, is on luke 16 "The Unjust Steward" which I believe all scholars have wrong.
At the time I was trying show my JW fleshly brother what Luke 16 was about when she wasn't even in the room. But she over heard enough that it sounded like I was saying JW's are wrong on it. Of course I do think that, after all they just explain it like all other scholars!
In the past she knows also that I have been critical of legal matters involving the way local elders run the hall Corporation! But that's about it.
The reporter told me that, after she had interviewed Andrea, that she was, how shall I say it, was not sure of her mental state? I said that was perfect, she had seen what is typical of most all JW's.

Hello MJ
These are my words "They truly believe their going to hell". The reporter did not make even one mistake quoting us. Hell is the quickest way to get non-JW's to understand what position your in with JW theology when damned. If one dies in this state at armegeddon your lost forever in gehenna. Not all churches teach gehenna . So if I die before Armegeddon then I am also in hell as JW's teach. You need to realize that I am not trying to talk to JW's in the paper. I am trying to get accross to others enough info to leave a bad taste in their mouth so that when they come to the door they tell them to get away. By the way JWs teach hell, remember HADES? MJ.
Who are you going to talk to in the paper anyway? The JWs not hardly. So do you waste half the article of Spokesman review on preaching JW theology on hell? I say Hell no!!!!
P.S. By the way the above info does not indicate my position on hell or anything else. Joel
<div>i've left off my private info, but wonder if any of the press-releasing pros can help me tweak this?
puhleez?
i would like to refer to a specific mirror site in my press release.
You might also get into contact with Peter to fill in the particulars as to accuracy of facts.

This sounds pretty good. However it sounds as if the Watchtower got their $100,000 from Peter. I don't believe that was the case. So if I am right you might clarify that point in you press release. If you want anymore help for me just Pm me the actual press release. I am not much on spelling or grammer but am pretty good at content. I don't see much else wrong with it. I might like to forward it on to some of my contacts in the press too.
